Capricorn 22 Dec - 19 Jan
YOUR YEAR AHEAD 2013
With Pluto in Capricorn, your Sun sign and Uranus
in Aries, life hasn't been a picnic for Capricorns in
recent years. Pluto brings irrevocable change and
transformation, endings and beginings and a sense of not
being able to return to things as they were before.
With Uranus in Aries, the domestic zone of your solar chart, your home and private life is also an area where change and upheaval is likely to take place. This may involve changes within the family or to your living situation, a move or even a desire to be free of domestic restrictions and to break away from the past in some way. The influence of Uranus and Pluto combined has long-term implications and the changes indicated will not happen overnight, it can take up to two years, for the process to complete. While the influence of Uranus and Pluto applies to all Capricorns, those born at the end of December and early January will be the ones to feel the influence most strongly in 2013.
Those Capricorns born earlier have already experienced the changes indicated while those born later have them to look forward to. Change is part of the natural cycle of life and although some changes are more dramatic than others, change can be experienced as liberating and exciting or disruptive and stressful, it really depends on how flexible we are.
Saturn, your planetary ruler, spends 2013 in Scorpio along with the North Node of the Moon (also known as the Dragon's Head). Scorpio is the area of your solar chart concerned with friendships and the groups, fraternities and associations you belong too and for some, political allegiances. Saturn's presence in Scorpio may indicate emotionally intense encounters with others in 2013. There may even be some goodbyes on the social front over the next twelve months, nevertheless 2013 should prove to be a good time for you socially. Therefore, even if it feels like a bit of hard work sometimes, be prepared to get out and about and mingle because some of the people you meet next year will be of importance and even a source of help and support to you in the future. You may find that within your peer group, social circle or other professional or special interest group that you take on more responsibility or authority. With the North Node of the Moon in Scorpio and the South Node of the Moon (also known as the Dragon's Tail) in Taurus, this the time to be a team player. This could also indicate that you may face a friendship versus love dilemma in 2013. However, since the South Node is in Taurus, the pleasure zone of your solar chart, decisions based on lust and desire could make your life complicated. So if in doubt, choose freindship.
With Jupiter in Gemini until the end of June, when it moves into your opposite sign of Cancer, the first half of 2013 should be enjoyable and productive when it comes to the day-to-day elements of your work and daily routine. You should be able to get a lot done, but as always with Jupiter, especially when in Gemini, try not to spread yourself too thin or take on too much. Jupiter's placement in Gemini would also be a good time for you learn new technical skills or use new technology that will increase your effectiveness in the work place.
From the end of June, Jupiter will make a twelve months transit through your opposite sign of Cancer, the area of your solar chart associated with others and relationships, personal, emotional and professional, in particular. Therefore the second half of 2013 should add to the positive indicators for you socially already mentioned above and in addition, be a fertile time for new relationships and working more closely with others. With Saturn, your planetary ruler in harmony with both Neptune in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer in the second half of 2013, this should be a good time to get in touch with your deeper feelings and for you to express yourself, emotionally.
