Sagittarius 22 Nov - 21 Dec
The Moon has two Nodes, the North
Node and the South Node. The Nodes
form an axis and are always opposite one
another in the zodiac. The Moon’s Nodes are
important in astrology because when a new or
full Moon falls near one of the Nodes, a solar or lunar
eclipse occurs and eclipses are considered potent astrological indicators of change. There are two eclipse seasons a year,
roughly 6 months apart and each lasting approximately 6 weeks. While the North Node points to the future and represents an area to move towards, embrace and develop, the South Node represents a place of release, where you need to let go, where you’re coming from and so is associated with the past. The eclipse activity in late winter and early spring and again 6 months later falls across the Leo Aquarius axis.
The North Node acts like a sign post, pointing to an area to develop, exploit and where fulfilment, favourable circumstance and opportunities await you. The influence of the North Node is emphasising the importance and benefits of exploring life, ideas and cultures rather different from your own. The South Node in Aquarius in contrast to the North Node, represents a place of release, where we need to let go, where we’re coming from and so has associations with the past. This suggest that if you find yourself stuck in a rut, unenthusiastically going round in what appear to be ever decreasing circles then perhaps it’s time for an adventure, to develop a new, broader perspective and again, to explore life away from your familiar, regular routine and circle. Fortunately, with Mars in Sagittarius, your Sun sign, you should also feel added energy, drive and determination to get ahead and get things done. However, you might be better off working relatively independently without too much interference from others now since you may be a little impatient and unlikely to mince your words with lesser mortals, time wasters, pencil pushers, red-tape and bureaucrats who slow you don’t or frustrate your attempts to get going and get ahead.
